READ WITH CAUTION:
There’s a very dangerous teaching going around Messianic Communities, not to dishonor the Jews or Messianic Jews, but to say that some Messianic Jewish Communities believe that the name of Jesus is not the name of Jesus but the name of an idol named Jezeus…and that is an idol. That is a mistake because in Greek the name is Iseous and it’s still the name Yeshua.
In Revelation 5 it says:
“You are worthy to take the scroll,
And to open its seals;
For You were slain,
And have redeemed us to God by Your blood
Out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,
10 And have made us kings and priests to our God;
And weshall reign on the earth.”
If you have every language there then the name of Jesus is going to have variations, but the name of Jesus still does has power whether it been in English, Hebrew, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Arabic, Lugandu, Gujarati, Hindi, Spanish, or any language!!! It’s still Him!!! Don’t let anyone deceive you into thinking that you cannot call upon the name of Jesus unless you speak Hebrew. He died for the whole world!!! Yes we SHOULD NOT, SHOULD NOT, SHOULD NOT, bow down to any idols, but Jesus is not an idol, unless you carve statues for Him.
I am sorry if this disturbed or shook anyone’s faith, but this had to be said because otherwise you start believing lies and then you lose the power of God and we don’t want that.
