Jesus Is Coming Back Soon Are you Ready?

The Bible says that in the Last Days before Jesus comes back will be “As the days of Noah were”

Genesis 6

Then the Lord[b] saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And the Lord was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart. So the Lord said, “I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them.” But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.

Noah Pleases God

This is the genealogy of Noah. Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God. 10 And Noah begot three sons: Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

11 The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence. 12 So God looked upon the earth, and indeed it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.

The Ark Prepared

13 And God said to Noah, “The end of all flesh has come before Me, for the earth is filled with violence through them; and behold, I will destroy them with the earth. 14 Make yourself an ark of gopherwood; make rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and outside with pitch. 15 And this is how you shall make it: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, its width fifty cubits, and its height thirty cubits. 16 You shall make a window for the ark, and you shall finish it to a cubit from above; and set the door of the ark in its side. You shall make it with lower, second, and third decks. 17 And behold, I Myself am bringing floodwaters on the earth, to destroy from under heaven all flesh in which is the breath of life; everything that is on the earth shall die. 18 But I will establish My covenant with you; and you shall go into the ark—you, your sons, your wife, and your sons’ wives with you. 19 And of every living thing of all flesh you shall bring two of every sort into the ark, to keep them alive with you; they shall be male and female. 20 Of the birds after their kind, of animals after their kind, and of every creeping thing of the earth after its kind, two of every kind will come to you to keep them alive. 21 And you shall take for yourself of all food that is eaten, and you shall gather it to yourself; and it shall be food for you and for them.”

22 Thus Noah did; according to all that God commanded him, so he did.

If you look at the News headlines these days online, you can’t seem to find any good news.  You know why?  The only Good News is that Jesus Christ died for our sins, and that He is raised up and that every eye will see Him even those who pierced Him.  Every tongue shall confess and every knee shall bow (even those who rejected Him) and say that He is Lord.

So I want to refresh all the believers out there of the fundamentals of the Christian faith.

1.  Jesus was born of a virgin mother.  The Gospel gives this account in Luke and Matthew.

2.  Jesus is the Son of God

3.  Jesus died on the Cross

4.  Jesus was raised from the dead

5.  He is coming back

There is a danger of false prophets and inerrancy in teaching that we all need to be aware of:

29 For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock.  30 Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves. 31 Therefore watch, and remember that for three years I did not cease to warn everyone night and day with tears.- ACTS 20:29

I say this to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you, not even one, who will be able to judge between his brethren? But brother goes to law against brother, and that before unbelievers!  1 Corinthians

17 Brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern. 18 For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: 19 whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things.-  Phillipians 3:18- That doesn’t mean you can’t be a Christian if you are overweight, but it means that you have turned against the Cross by eating foods sacrificed to idols.

If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness, he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions,  useless wranglings[a] of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself. – 1 Timothy 6 – Beware of people you see on television – they may be trying to manipulate you.

12 But these, like natural brute beasts made to be caught and destroyed, speak evil of the things they do not understand, and will utterly perish in their own corruption, 13 and will receive the wages of unrighteousness, as those who count it pleasure to carouse in the daytime. They are spots and blemishes, carousing in their own deceptions while they feast with you, 14 having eyes full of adultery and that cannot cease from sin, enticing unstable souls. They have a heart trained in covetous practices, and are accursed children. 15 They have forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness; 16 but he was rebuked for his iniquity: a dumb donkey speaking with a man’s voice restrained the madness of the prophet.

17 These are wells without water, clouds[b] carried by a tempest, for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.[c]–  2 Peter 2:12

24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you beforehand.  Matthew 24:14 – That is not to say that you cannot experience the tangible Presence of God with you because He is Omnipresent, but Jesus will not come back until He comes in the clouds and every eye will see him.

1 John 2:18 – Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour.

These Scriptures were provided by the assistance of two very special people who don’t even know that I am writing about them.

Jesus can come at any time and we must be prepared to meet Him.  We must live everyday like Jesus is going to come back  any second.  That’s how Paul lived, and that’s how we are all supposed to live.  We are to live as Christ lives.  We must not get so caught up in the daily things of life that we forget the Beautiful thing that Christ is coming again.

Things to beware of:

1.  Chrislam/Coexist movements – members of the so-called Christian community who say Jesus is different from who He says He is in the Bible and try to relate it to the Koran and try to mix and mingle these things together.

2.  New Age – People that put emphasis on the spiritual aspect of things and sound “spiritual” but their spirituality is devilish and demonic and is not based on the Word of God, which is the Bible and the Gospels spoken by Jesus. They often use key terms like “we are gods”

3.  Ecumenism – Taking one faith and saying that Christianity and this faith are the same faith are derived from the same thing (Except for Judeo-Christianity because Jews and Gentiles are One.

4.  Cults – branches of Christianity like Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormonism, and other such cults we deviate widely from the Truth.

5.  People that don’t preach against sin – We have been deceived Church – we think we can just sin and get away with it.  We are lying to ourselves.  We can’t sin.  God hates sin, and He will hold you accountable for everything that you do.  It is not God’s plan for anything bad that happens to you, but you do have a choice in what you do so you must life every moment as if you were going to glorify God.

I have seen so many things in the last days.  I have some people come into Churches, straight out of the book of Revelation warnings.  I have seen people who deceive you with crafty words.

A helpful tip – don’t worry if your life doesn’t change right away but rejoice in the fact that you love the Lord and declare Jesus Christ as the Son of God, and repent of your sins.  It is a process of learning to be more like Jesus.

The Good News is that Jesus, our Precious Savior the One who redeemed us from our sins.  The One and Truly Way to heaven.  The One and Only True God is coming so you better be ready.  We have no more time to waste.  For those that have been deceived by false prophets and fallen into sin, there is still room and hope for repentance because God is merciful.

Pain is only for a moment but His eternal glory is forever.

If you can’t see what’s going on, then watch the News and Read the Prophetical books with literal interpretation that you may see what’s going on.

Heavenly Father,

For those who have turned their hearts against You, give them time to repent and come to You.  For those who have been deceived, open their eyes.  For those that have lost loved ones, remind their loved ones how much Jesus loved them.  He died for them so that they may know the Gospel.  Give us strength to preach the Gospel and to abide in Your Presence.  Let our hearts be truly repentant as we come before you and humble ourselves.   Touch each and every soul that You have called for your purpose and let it be established on earth as it is in Heaven.  Let Your Will be Done and Your Kingdom Come.  Forgive us Lord for ourshortcomings these days and cleanse us with Your awesome and Precious Blood.  We thank You and Praise You and let us hold fast our confession of faith.  Let us beware and let us have a spirit of discernment.  I seal this post with the Blood of Jesus.

In Jesus Mighty Name I pray,

Amen.

Dangers of being a false teacher

I would like to start off this post by saying that whatever you hear from anyone whether it be me, or your pastor, or anyone on the pulpit, search out the Scriptures and be like the Bereans instead of the Thessalonians and with the instruction and guidance of the Holy Spirit search out things for yourself.  When I was reading this chapter in the Bible – 2 Peter 2 – I had to come into real repentance and at the end of this post there is going to be a prayer for anyone who has misled the congregation, or has failed to see things in a proper light, or whose sins have led people astray or led people to be abused and victimized by their words or actions.  This is my way of a public confession.  Now I know that God does not see my sin, and He sees me as righteous and perfect and holy, but I am also responsible because I am a leader by means of this blog and the people that read it, and I don’t want this to weigh on my conscience in the future if I haven’t come to the Cross and laid my mistakes and failures all down and let Jesus restore and pick up the pieces wherever I have gone wrong and cleanse me with His Blood.  This is also a reminder to those people who are called to be teachers for Christ, that they don’t get pulled away into becoming false teachers or prophets.  Keep yourself on guard against these things:

 Destructive Doctrines

2 But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the way of truth will be blasphemed. By covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words; for a long time their judgment has not been idle, and their destruction does[a] not slumber.

Doom of False Teachers

For if God did not spare the angels who sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved for judgment; and did not spare the ancient world, but saved Noah, one of eight people, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood on the world of the ungodly; and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemned them to destruction, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly; and delivered righteous Lot, who was oppressed by the filthy conduct of the wicked (for that righteous man, dwelling among them, tormented his righteous soul from day to day by seeing and hearing their lawless deeds)— then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment, 10 and especially those who walk according to the flesh in the lust of uncleanness and despise authority. They are presumptuous, self-willed. They are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries, 11 whereas angels, who are greater in power and might, do not bring a reviling accusation against them before the Lord.

I’d like to stop here for a second – How many of us including myself, have spoken something bad about some pastor along the time?  How many times have we spoken evil against someone who is in a Church elder?  There are people out there who have abused their position of authority and participated in lustful and abusive acts – there were men who abused the young girls and quoted the Bible for reasons why they should do it.  There are men and women that have led the pulpit but denied their natural form of use.  But in all cases whatever the sin is for the person, we shouldn’t remember or it recall it, but warn people against it and this passage says that the angels are afraid to speak evil of dignitaries, even so, we should not speak evil against anyone, especially against authorities.  (refer to Touch not the Anointed post)

Depravity of False Teachers

17 These are wells without water, clouds[b] carried by a tempest, for whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever.[c]

When I was reading this, I was like, “Woah, I wouldn’t want to be one of these people!!!”  Imagine the blackness of darkness forever.  They speak evil of things they do not understand and are spots and blemishes (We are called to be a spotless and bride without blemish)- There are people out there like that have eyes full of adultery – (Even if you look at a person with lust in your heart then you have committed adultery with them)  This reminds me of a Jezebel spirit which Jesus talks about in Revelation – “having eyes full of adultery and that cannot cease from sin, enticing unstable souls.”  These are people with seducing spirits and need deliverance or help to be set free if they are willing, but so often people are not willing or too ashamed to admit their mistakes.  You’ve got to admire celebrities that admit this problem, but then they don’t turn to Jesus for help, so then where is their healing from this situation.  These Jezebel or seducing spirits have forsaken the right way and gone astray, and followed the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness, but he was rebuked for his iniquity.  This particular passage in 2 Peter refers back to Revelation 3.

Deceptions of False Teachers

18 For when they speak great swelling words of emptiness, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through lewdness, the ones who have actually escaped[d] from those who live in error. 19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are slaves of corruption; for by whom a person is overcome, by him also he is brought into bondage. 20 For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. 21 For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. 22 But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: “A dog returns to his own vomit,”[e] and, “a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire.

“Swelling words of emptiness” – I hope my words have not been empty, I believe they were inspired by the Holy Spirit.  Now that brings up an interesting point, there are pastors that “promise liberty”, but are slaves of corruption-

The Message says it like this –

17-19There’s nothing to these people—they’re dried-up fountains, storm-scattered clouds, headed for a black hole in hell. They are loudmouths, full of hot air, but still they’re dangerous. Men and women who have recently escaped from a deviant life are most susceptible to their brand of seduction. They promise these newcomers freedom, but they themselves are slaves of corruption, for if they’re addicted to corruption—and they are—they’re enslaved.

20-22If they’ve escaped from the slum of sin by experiencing our Master and Savior, Jesus Christ, and then slid back into that same old life again, they’re worse than if they had never left. Better not to have started out on the straight road to God than to start out and then turn back, repudiating the experience and the holy command. They prove the point of the proverbs, “A dog goes back to its own vomit” and “A scrubbed-up pig heads for the mud.”

There are definite dangers of backsliding and falling away and losing your crown- I would like to believe like some pastors do in Once Saved Always Saved, but the Scripture does have teaching that says that it is possible to be saved and then return back to your old ways, especially when people receive the “Promise of Liberty”, but they themselves are slaves to corruption.  After the first few years I was born again, I experienced some “backsliding” because I was constantly going in and out of churches and not able to find a home church so I do now that even after you’ve been baptised you can still lose your way, but the wonderful thing is that sometimes God will just give you a big wake up call, to where you’ve hit rock bottom, and then you will find your way back, and some people never have the chance to do that and are called before their time, but He is merciful to all.

Romans 11:32-

32 All people have refused to obey God. And He has put them all together as people who don’t obey Him so that he can show mercy to everyone. (ERV)

Isn’t that relieving, knowing that despite the pressure of having to live up to be obedient to God even in ways when we haven’t been loving or followed His nudgings, or guidance, that He has mercy on everyone!!  Praise be to God, for His throne is exalted forever.

Here is a Prayer for people that have led people astray through their teachings:

Heavenly Father,

I come humbly before Your Throne of Grace, knowing that You are exalted and high above the earth and that Your very Kingdom rules and reigns with authority.  If I have anyway abused, neglected, manipulated, people or Your pulpit, then please forgive me and cleanse me with the Blood of Your Son Jesus, and cleanse away all impurities out of my mind, and heart and wash me in that precious Blood.  Help me to proclaim the Truth to the people, which is Jesus Christ, and declare the Word of God, with the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and help me not to backslide and slip away like a “dog that turns back to it’s own vomit”.  Lord I know Your ways are merciful and kind, gracious and wonderful, that You will keep the works that are good, and burn away the dead works, but more than that it is by believing upon the name of Jesus and how Jesus has kept us free from sin, that keeps me wanting to share the Good News, and Yes, it is Good News.  For all the times that I have not listened or obeyed, Thank You for having mercy and patience with me.  Thank You for helping.  Give me a fresh start and wisdom to seek after You.  In Jesus Mighty Name I pray, Amen.
