The Church is the Bride of Jesus – and Israel – and this only applies to Israel, DO NOT TAKE A PERSONAL APPLICATION TO THIS!!!!

Jerusalem’s Harlotry

¹⁵ “But you trusted in your own beauty, played the harlot because of your fame, and poured out your harlotry on everyone passing by who would have it. ¹⁶ You took some of your garments and adorned multicolored high places for yourself, and played the harlot on them. Such things should not happen, nor be. ¹⁷ You have also taken your beautiful jewelry from My gold and My silver, which I had given you, and made for yourself male images and played the harlot with them. ¹⁸ You took your embroidered garments and covered them, and you set My oil and My incense before them. ¹⁹ Also My food which I gave you—the pastry of fine flour, oil, and honey which I fed you—you set it before them as sweet incense; and so it was,” says the Lord God.

²⁰ “Moreover you took your sons and your daughters, whom you bore to Me, and these you sacrificed to them to be devoured. Were your acts of harlotry a small matter, ²¹ that you have slain My children and offered them up to them by causing them to pass through the fire? ²² And in all your abominations and acts of harlotry you did not remember the days of your youth, when you were naked and bare, struggling in your blood.

²³ “Then it was so, after all your wickedness—‘Woe, woe to you!’ says the Lord God— ²⁴ that you also built for yourself a shrine, and made a high place for yourself in every street. ²⁵ You built your high places at the head of every road, and made your beauty to be abhorred. You offered yourself to everyone who passed by, and multiplied your acts of harlotry. ²⁶ You also committed harlotry with the Egyptians, your very fleshly neighbors, and increased your acts of harlotry to provoke Me to anger.

²⁷ “Behold, therefore, I stretched out My hand against you, diminished your allotment, and gave you up to the will of those who hate you, the daughters of the Philistines, who were ashamed of your lewd behavior. ²⁸ You also played the harlot with the Assyrians, because you were insatiable; indeed you played the harlot with them and still were not satisfied. ²⁹ Moreover you multiplied your acts of harlotry as far as the land of the trader, Chaldea; and even then you were not satisfied.

³⁰ “How degenerate is your heart!” says the Lord God, “seeing you do all these things, the deeds of a brazen harlot.

The reason why God was so mad at Israel was because she prostituted herself instead of seeking after her husband, the LORD JEHOVAH!!!

Man, this is the same guy that makes the volcano’s errupt and they are seeking after other lovers, what a shame!!!!  What a shame, what a shame.

Israel had her true love in the Lord Jesus Christ, so when God was writing this book of Ezekiel, He was stepping forward into time, and seeing His Son on the Cross, and remembering the pain associated with His Son being on the Cross, so then He stepped back into the past and consumed His wrath upon them.  He was so Jealous, and Jesus was so hurt, and then Jesus in the book of Revelation 2 goes into the future about the Church of Ephesus, and recalls Himself being crucified, and then goes to Ezekiel 16, and says –

My Jerusalem – my one and only Jerusalem – My bride my one and only bride the Church, how can you forget me, the One who loves you.  Then it is like Isaiah 54.  For this is like the waters of Noah to Me;
For as I have sworn
That the waters of Noah would no longer cover the earth,
So have I sworn
That I would not be angry with you, nor rebuke you.
¹⁰ For the mountains shall depart
And the hills be removed,
But My kindness shall not depart from you,
Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,”
Says the Lord, who has mercy on you.

Remember the movie Pretty Woman, with Julia Roberts?  Well this is what this is like.  In the movie, Julia Roberts is a prositute who goes after a rich man, but in this context, the prostitute, already had a husband who she loved, and she really loved and was pretty much just selling herself short, she was beautiful, but she left him for another man, and He hated it, – “Jesus was asking His Father?”  Why doesn’t she love me?  Why doesn’t she love me?  Why doesn’t she love me?  So then the Father had to answer back in Ezekiel 16 and say that it is because they have left their true love.

Jerusalem’s Adultery

³¹ “You erected your shrine at the head of every road, and built your high place in every street. Yet you were not like a harlot, because you scorned payment. ³² You are an adulterous wife, who takes strangers instead of her husband. ³³ Men make payment to all harlots, but you made your payments to all your lovers, and hired them to come to you from all around for your harlotry. ³⁴ You are the opposite of other women in your harlotry, because no one solicited you to be a harlot. In that you gave payment but no payment was given you, therefore you are the opposite.”

The Bride is going to be exact like her mother.  It even says so in verse 44.

But let me tell you why He’s saying all this.  He won’t let it go that far, but you know when we all get mad, we say things we don’t mean, and we get really furious and we yell and scream, imagine if a husband who loves his wife caught him cheating on her with another man, and this man was his worst enemy.  Wouldn’t he be furious?  He would absolutely be furious!!!  He would be so mad, that He would yell and say – imagine this scenario –

He’s got sweat coming out of his brow, and he’s got liquid coming out of his poors, and his face is red and he feels like he’s going to erupt and with his firm strong hands with abrupt forceful movement yanked out the precious strong pearls delicately thrown around the neck.  He had Jealous fury like a husband  that had been wronged.  His eyes were a flame with passion like a Lamb that is roasting on the fire, and the heat bubbled like a volcano, and was fierce as an earthquake, He was in love with this woman, and she cheated on him and he still managed  to forgive her.  Filled with the dynamic forces of contempt and love waging war at the same time, burning and yearning to be with her, yet despising her because she left him alone.  She left him alone.  He wanted to leave her to the very ones for her filthiness, and the same time, this was his bride, a bride whose beautiful gown, he would like to see drenched in blood, but at the same time, would like to see renewed much like Jerry MacGuire, and then there comes the song – “She’ll lead you down that path, she’ll lead you down that road, that secret garden….don’t think twice.”  So then He forgives and forgets.  He rushes by her side in an embrace, and kisses her and takes her into the Garden in Song of Solomon, and makes sweet love to her in the bedchamber of heaven.

Jerusalem’s Lovers Will Abuse Her

³⁵ ‘Now then, O harlot, hear the word of the Lord! ³⁶ Thus says the Lord God: “Because your filthiness was poured out and your nakedness uncovered in your harlotry with your lovers, and with all your abominable idols, and because of the blood of your children which you gave to them, ³⁷ surely, therefore, I will gather all your lovers with whom you took pleasure, all those you loved, and all those you hated; I will gather them from all around against you and will uncover your nakedness to them, that they may see all your nakedness. ³⁸ And I will judge you as women who break wedlock or shed blood are judged; I will bring blood upon you in fury and jealousy. ³⁹ I will also give you into their hand, and they shall throw down your shrines and break down your high places. They shall also strip you of your clothes, take your beautiful jewelry, and leave you naked and bare.

⁴⁰ “They shall also bring up an assembly against you, and they shall stone you with stones and thrust you through with their swords. ⁴¹ They shall burn your houses with fire, and execute judgments on you in the sight of many women; and I will make you cease playing the harlot, and you shall no longer hire lovers. ⁴² So I will lay to rest My fury toward you, and My jealousy shall depart from you. I will be quiet, and be angry no more. ⁴³ Because you did not remember the days of your youth, but agitated Me^[a] with all these things, surely I will also recompense your deeds on your own head,” says the Lord God. “And you shall not commit lewdness in addition to all your abominations.

Imagine this poor woman, who because of her naivity, and her deceptive heart, who took after so many lovers because of her dicotomy of personality, where her brain just is an intense momentum of ups and downs and very much like a rollar coaster, that doesn’t go upside down, she takes this guy for a spin.  She’s the typical slut, so what can He do for her?  But she doesn’t want to be a slut anymore?  She doesn’t want to be the one in the spotlight anymore, like Britney Spears’ “Lucky” song.  She wants to be be a princess now, and a queen, like Danielle DeBarberac in Ever After Cinderella Story, but now she wants to be loved.  He was so mad that He said, they would throw up stones and abuse her, it would take more than the Knights of the Round Table, to go and rescue this princess.  It would take a King and the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.  Who is both Prince and hero over the wrath of a God who King Triton (The Little Mermaid) is only a shadow of.   Types and shadows – Types and shadows are things that resemble Christ.  A type is something like a noun, and a shadow is like an analogy or comparison.

Will this hero get His bride in the end?  To know that you have to say the sinner’s prayer:

Heavenly Father:

I know I am a sinner, I want to know You more and I want to learn more about You and Your Son, teach me about your Son Jesus Christ because He seems like an awesome person, and I want to get to know this person, and I have a feeling we can be really cool buds.  I want to get to know a guy who’s been through the school of hard knocks like me like that.

When Elijah turns into King Ahab

In the book of 1 Kings 18 –

It says beginning at verse 1-

1 Kings 18

Amplified Bible (AMP)

18 After many days, the word of the Lord came to Elijah in the third year, saying, Go, show yourself to Ahab, and I will send rain upon the earth.

² So Elijah went to show himself to Ahab. Now the famine was severe in Samaria.

³ And Ahab called Obadiah, who was the governor of his house. (Now Obadiah feared the Lord greatly;

⁴ For when Jezebel cut off the prophets of the Lord, Obadiah took a hundred prophets and hid them by fifties in a cave and fed them with bread and water.)

⁵ And Ahab said to Obadiah, Go into the land to all the fountains of water and to all the brooks; perhaps we may find grass to keep the horses and mules alive, that we lose none of the beasts.

⁶ So they divided the land between them to pass through it. Ahab went one way and Obadiah went another way, each by himself.

⁷ As Obadiah was on the way, behold, Elijah met him. He recognized him and fell on his face and said, Are you my lord Elijah?

⁸ He answered him, It is I. Go tell your lord, Behold, Elijah is here.

⁹ And he said, What sin have I committed, that you would deliver your servant into the hands of Ahab to be slain?

¹⁰ As the Lord your God lives, there is no nation or kingdom where my lord has not sent to seek you. And when they said, He is not here, he took an oath from the kingdom or nation that they had not found you.

¹¹ And now you say, Go tell your lord, Behold, Elijah is here.

¹² And as soon as I have gone out from you, the Spirit of the Lord will carry you I know not where; so when I come and tell Ahab and he cannot find you, he will kill me. But I your servant have feared and revered the Lord from my youth.

¹³ Was it not told my lord what I did when Jezebel slew the prophets of the Lord, how I hid a hundred men of the Lord’s prophets by fifties in a cave and fed them with bread and water?

¹⁴ And now you say, Go tell your lord, Behold, Elijah is here; and he will kill me.

¹⁵ Elijah said, As the Lord of hosts lives, before Whom I stand, I will surely show myself to Ahab today.

¹⁶ So Obadiah went to meet Ahab and told him, and Ahab went to meet Elijah.

¹⁷ When Ahab saw Elijah, Ahab said to him, Are you he who troubles Israel?

¹⁸ Elijah replied, I have not troubled Israel, but you have, and your father’s house, by forsaking the commandments of the Lord and by following the Baals.

¹⁹ Therefore send and gather to me all Israel at Mount Carmel, and the 450 prophets of Baal and the 400 prophets of [the goddess] Asherah, who eat at [Queen] Jezebel’s table.

²⁰ So Ahab sent to all the Israelites and assembled the prophets at Mount Carmel.

²¹ Elijah came near to all the people and said, How long will you halt and limp between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him! But if Baal, then follow him. And the people did not answer him a word.

²² Then Elijah said to the people, I, I only, remain a prophet of the Lord, but Baal’s prophets are 450 men.

²³ Let two bulls be given us; let them choose one bull for themselves and cut it in pieces and lay it on the wood but put no fire to it. I will dress the other bull, lay it on the wood, and put no fire to it.

²⁴ Then you call on the name of your god, and I will call on the name of the Lord; and the One Who answers by fire, let Him be God. And all the people answered, It is well spoken.

²⁵ Elijah said to the prophets of Baal, Choose one bull for yourselves and dress it first, for you are many; and call on the name of your god, but put no fire under it.

²⁶ So they took the bull given them, dressed it, and called on the name of Baal from morning until noon, saying, O Baal, hear and answer us! But there was no voice; no one answered. And they leaped upon or limped about the altar they had made.

²⁷ At noon Elijah mocked them, saying, Cry aloud, for he is a god; either he is musing, or he has gone aside, or he is on a journey, or perhaps he is asleep and must be awakened.

²⁸ And they cried aloud and cut themselves after their custom with knives and lances until the blood gushed out upon them.

²⁹ Midday passed, and they played the part of prophets until the time for offering the evening sacrifice, but there was no voice, no answer, no one who paid attention.

³⁰ Then Elijah said to all the people, Come near to me. And all the people came near him. And he repaired the [old] altar of the Lord that had been broken down [by Jezebel].

³¹ Then Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, to whom the word of the Lord came, saying, Israel shall be your name.

³² And with the stones Elijah built an altar in the name [and self-revelation] of the Lord. He made a trench about the altar as great as would contain two measures of seed.

³³ He put the wood in order and cut the bull in pieces and laid it on the wood and said, Fill four jars with water and pour it on the burnt offering and the wood.

³⁴ And he said, Do it the second time. And they did it the second time. And he said, Do it the third time. And they did it the third time.

³⁵ The water ran round about the altar, and he filled the trench also with water.

³⁶ At the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, Elijah the prophet came near and said, O Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, let it be known this day that You are God in Israel and that I am Your servant and that I have done all these things at Your word.

³⁷ Hear me, O Lord, hear me, that this people may know that You, the Lord, are God, and have turned their hearts back [to You].

³⁸ Then the fire of the Lord fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice and the wood and the stones and the dust, and also licked up the water that was in the trench.

³⁹ When all the people saw it, they fell on their faces and they said, The Lord, He is God! The Lord, He is God!

⁴⁰ And Elijah said, Seize the prophets of Baal; let not one escape. They seized them, and Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon, and [as God’s law required] slew them there.

⁴¹ And Elijah said to Ahab, Go up, eat and drink, for there is the sound of abundance of rain.

⁴² So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he bowed himself down upon the earth and put his face between his knees

⁴³ And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up and looked and said, There is nothing. Elijah said, Go again seven times.

⁴⁴ And at the seventh time the servant said, A cloud as small as a man’s hand is arising out of the sea. And Elijah said, Go up, say to Ahab, Hitch your chariot and go down, lest the rain stop you.

⁴⁵ In a little while, the heavens were black with wind-swept clouds, and there was a great rain. And Ahab went to Jezreel.

⁴⁶ The hand of the Lord was on Elijah. He girded up his loins and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel [nearly twenty miles].

I want you to take a good look at the characters of Elijah and the characters of King Ahab.  Jezebel was a key woman in the two of these men’s lives, and the woman Jezebel was making it very hard for Elijah to fulfill His calling to do miracles, as he was called to do miracles.  If men that are called to do miracles listen to the wrong women, someone with an Elijah anointing can turn into a King Ahab.

You can read about King Ahab yourself, and he wasn’t all that bad, but he led the nation of Israel toward destruction and Israel is a type and shadow of the Church.

When we let that woman Jezebel – who according to I believe it was “End of the Age by Irvin Baxter” but I could be mistaken.  There was the woman Jezebel who is much different than the one in the end of the Book of Revelation.  It takes a very unChrist-like attitude to blanket anyone who seems to commit fornication into a blanket label as that “Jezebel spirit” because they are two different people, and I am talking about the one in the Old Testament – who was with King Ahab.  This woman had so much control over her husband that she would not let him do anything.  Come on we all know women like that.  They may feel insecure about their womenhood so they become ultrapossessive, but they don’t believe that God has the best plan for their lives.  In essence they rip friendships apart.  The thing is that King Ahab should have known better, he should have known better than to believe Jezebel.  She was not good for him.  Maybe if you were to pick another woman for King Ahab and go back and forth through time and pick out the best woman for King Ahab, not that he needed the best one, but maybe Mary Magdalene, or the woman at the well would have been better.  We really don’t know.

If you really want to read about Gaelic culture I would recommend “Scarlet” by Alexandra Ripley – the book was ok, I didn’t  like it as much as the first one, and looking back I don’t like either one of those books.  Compared to them – Hinds Feet in High Places by Hannah Hurnard, Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers, and the Mark of the Lion series by Francine Rivers were awesome, but not as good as the Osiris Rex Complex, which is the subject I am going to delve into today.

There is the role of men in particular – you can watch out for this in the TV hit series “Do No Harm.” – the doctor has a “multiple personality disorder” – but in this case it is the man who has been taken control of by his wife.  She dominates him, and won’t let him be free to explore the part of him that is a man and is able to have attractive female friends, that may or may not imagine them when they go use the restroom.

It’s not Jezebel’s job to micromanage everything that King Ahab does.  Jezebel was so strong, that Elijah, ran scared.  Imagine you being a friend of King Ahab or Elijah, and talking to Jezebel on the phone, let’s say King Ahab –

“Why do you want to talk to my husband?”

Her intimidating tone just sends you in the opposite direction.  You’ve had one too many altercations with this Jezebel woman.  You want to just throw her under the bus.  You want to tell her that  he being Elijah, that you made the Ezekiel cake, and now she’s just furious that you want to speak to Elijah/King Ahab.  If that makes sense.

So what do you do – you cut the conversation short.  But something has to be done to free King Ahab from Jezebel.  She’s going to ruin the Church.  Plus she’s got the purse strings, she controls the money, and she’s got the power.  She’s very controlling and manipulative.  Which makes you very controlling and manipulative and you are trying to wipe Jesus feet with your tears, and here comes this woman Jezebel trying to make your friend Elijah/King Ahab.  King Ahab was blinded.  He was selfish and ignorant.   If Mary Magdalene had come to Elijah would he have turned her away no, he would have done the right thing.  But King Ahab because he was under control of Jezebel.  He suffered, and his fall was great.  There is a nursery rhyme that goes. –

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall

Humpty Dumpty had a great fall

All the king’s horse’s

All the king’s men

Couldn’t put Humpty Dumpty back together again.

So that is a warning for King Ahab not to trust Jezebel.  Plus Mary Magdalene should never have let Jezebel read her blog.  !!!!!!

I consider you guys to watch this video, there are so many suffering children in these world, and as a body of Christ, we have to do something.  This is the only way I can my impact on the world, but the children need to be reached.  This is God’s cry in His heart right now.  He wants to help heal children that have been hurt and suffer tremendous obstacles in their life.  We as a nation and a people must come together to help children, disabled, abused, and reach out to our neighbors.  Find out who needs our help and find ways to help them.  This is what we must do.  I hope someone reads this.

Tithing and the Multiplication effect

There is an amazing principle of multiplication in God’s Economy.  God will increase whatever little you give and it will keep on multiplying and multiplying.  This is what happened in the Bible when Jesus came to multiply the fish.  The boy brought five loaves and two fish.  When you keep sowing seed the seed keeps multiplying.  There was a sermon I preached on Warning for Televsion Pastors saying it was wrong for them to ask for money.  But the context was that you won’t get blessed unless you tithe, but sometimes sowing seeds is important.
When people sow seeds then it brings money for God’s work, and then more people can get affected and it can have an impact on the economy and change the lives of the people for the better.   This can provide more money for problems in the nation.  In America we have a problem with health insurance but if people work and tithe, they can afford to make lives better for everybody and then that makes lives easier for every body else.   This is what we need to do as a body of Christ.  We know that the Bible says to pay 10%, but I believe God is worth more than 10%, and that’s why we need to give.

Once a seed starts to take effect it gives birth to more and more and more until there is supernatural increase from the doorways of heaven and the abundant supplies from Heaven comes and then that makes lives better for everyone.   God is the King of Kings and He can create wealth out of anything, and He can supply us with every need that we want.  We are the Body of Christ and we are meant to change the world, and we need to do the most that we can to have the impact on the world and that starts by sowing seed.  Whatever we sow God can multiply and then there will be more for others.  Wouldn’t everyone want to have all of their needs met and if so that is what we need to do is to make lives better for everyone.
There are so many people suffering with sickness, disease, poverty and they desperately need our help and we need to go out and starting sowing seed- God deserves our best.
God is Jehovah Jireh and He can provide for us, and whenever we offer something of value He will return the very best back to us.

Let’s start changing the world now – if you haven’t given give more it helps people around the world.

What the life of Martin Luther, Christians, and Ecclesiastes all have in common

I have been skimming through the works of Martin Luther that is sitting on my coffee table.  As I writer I see myself getting into similar issues, and I am sure that we Christians have faced obstacles and challenges of the same kind at some point.  After the vast digest of reading, which I also glanced and skimmed over, since I’m not a big reader, but I love to write is that – we need to be careful what we do say because even in Luther’s errors, led to tremendous tragedy.  Words have more power than you think.  Life and death is in the power of the spoken and written word, and honestly this whole time people have not changed at all.  People are exactly the same, which is why I am really beginning to understand the depth that is found in Ecclesiastes where Solomon pretty much says, “There is nothing new under the sun” and basically saying people have not changed.  What’s more revealing is Solomon’s revelation just “Fear God, and Obey His Commandments.”  It makes me wonder what impact the book of Ecclesiastes had on Luther as he was translating and interpreting it.  He was a poet by nature, so sometimes at some level, the poems at their base level maybe better understood.  I find my life and my works in many ways mirroring that of Luther, but I still choose to believe that my latter days are better than my past.  As a Church, we need to look back at history.

What I have come to learn is that life really is all about Jesus Christ.  It’s all about Him.  He created the Word, both spoken and written.  He also says choose life not death.  The task is not easy, but we are all challenged with that.

We can spend hours and hours studying to know doctrines, and such , but at the end of the day – do we have a relationship the Person of Jesus Christ, which is more important.

 

 

 

Christ for all of the Nations of the World

This is a song I heard by Newsboys called He reigns.  I believe Christ is for the whole world to be saved.  Thanks for whoever originally posted this video.  I do not own the copy right, but I was inspired by the video.
To make a clarification on one of my earlier posts, I believe that God also God of Israel as it says in the Old Testament.  His name is YHWH (LORD)  Elohim (Creator consisting of Father, Son, and Spirit) Y’Israel.  That’s who He is and you cannot change who He is.  Just like you cannot change your own ethnicity.  You were born with it.  If you are born in Spain and of Spanish ethnicity and you go to France, and live in France and you and your Spanish spouse give birth in France, to a Spanish child, your child and you are still Spanish.  You cannot change your ethnicity even if you were born in another country.  At the same time we know that God’s Kingdom is not of this world, but is a Heavenly Kingdom, and we are just temporary residents and thank God that that Jesus came in the flesh to die for the sins of the whole world, and now the whole world can rejoice in the rejection of Christ, by the Jews, so that the Jews and Gentiles and the whole world may come to know Christ and we can all be part of God’s Kingdom when we choose Jesus as our Savior!!!!  He is also King of all nations and all Kingdoms and every culture, every race, included in God’s Heavenly Kingdom.  Hallelujah!!!  Amen!!!

For the Multitude of the nations which this blog only covers a few, but Jesus Christ wants the whole world to be His!!!

Do you have little foxes that spoil the vineyard?

Today I was reading Song of Solomon, and I came across upon –

Catch us the foxes,
The little foxes that spoil the vines,
For our vines have tender grapes.  – Song of Solomon 2:15

I’m going to take an unusual twist on this verse.  We have cats and a new litter of puppies, which gave birth and they are stray, and sometimes they “spoil” the yard and driveway.  The Hebrew word here chabal means to in some cases to offend or to destroy or to pervert.  Our situation is that these horrendous animals were defacing our property, and we had done everything in our property.  Also they made it very difficult to go outside.
Imagine the Shulamite woman who wants to go to meet the shepherd at be with the flock and her beloved, but she has a responsibility to keep the vineyards clean, but her own vineyard she has not kept clean.  Why was it – because of the foxes?
I was wondering why God was allowing all these to happen to us, and only us, but apparently I know why – He wanted to at some point make this Scripture a revelation.  Foxes can spoil a vineyard by eating or doing some kind of destruction.  If you look up the Hebrew word for foxes it means “jackal or burrower”  So let’s say you have a lawn, it may be not be garden of the year, but it’s a pretty decent lawn, and some animal, either a dog or cat has defaced the property.  So that is what is these brothers felt like.
To backtrack we go to –

My mother’s sons were angry with me;
They made me the keeper of the vineyards,
But my own vineyard I have not kept.

Imagine if your neighbors because they were mad at you and they made you clean up the yards, but in the process your own lawn looked like a mess.  This is what the Shulamite woman felt like.  She was actually dark because she had been all day cleaning up her “neighbor’s” yards.   Now she couldn’t take care of her own.

Here she is the Shulamite woman – all she wants to do is to spend time with Shepherd, and her brothers want her to catch  the foxes that spoil the vineyard.  When I first this I thought it was the daughters of Jerusalem saying this, but it is actually the brothers.

So in relation sometimes we in a Church setting have to deal with little foxes that cause offense, travail, and destruction, but all we want to do is to be fully committed to Christ.

Sometimes as the Shulamite woman we want to be fully committed to Christ, but we have distractions of this world, or we have all these little problems and issues that get in the way.

Sometimes God gives you a promise and a vision, and a calling, but because of all these misunderstandings, which come from things taking out of context without proper interpretation of cultural and historical context, we end up with little foxes that have tender grapes that must be managed and cared for.
Nobody likes to have these foxes that spoil the vineyard.  But what are we to do, keep the Shulamite woman from the Shepherd?  I didn’t like to have these dogs and cats spoil my yard, but now I can see why that happens, and I hope someone somewhere can get something from this.

Prayer to Bless Israel

Heavenly Father,

I ask You to bless Israel, for You promised them, blessed are those who bless you and cursed are those who curse you.   So I am speaking abundant blessings upon them –

³ “Blessed shall you be in the city, and blessed shall you be in the country.

⁴ “Blessed shall be the fruit of your body, the produce of your ground and the increase of your herds, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks.

⁵ “Blessed shall be your basket and your kneading bowl.

⁶ “Blessed shall you be when you come in, and blessed shall you be when you go out.

We ask you to bless their weather, and their children, and their families, and their schools, their hospitals,  we ask that You provide all their needs, and we ask that you bless them in the government.  We ask that you bless the hungry people with food.  We ask that You bless the women, widows, orphans, sick, hungry, thirsty, needy, and oppressed in Israel.  We ask that you bless them with Your awesome Presence so that there may be a revival in Israel like never before.  We ask that you bless them with safety and security because You are Jehovah Shammah, we ask that You bless them with an abundant storehouse of goods, so that they may proclaim that You are the God who blesses Israel.  May You bless them with the shade upon the right hand, and protect them from the heat and scorching sun, and protection from the storms both naturally and spiritually.  Take up Armor and Lord defend them against wicked things in high places, and spare the nations of the world for Israel’s sake, and have mercy on anyone who chooses to go against Israel.  We pray for Your Church that we as one accord will come with one purpose to seek out daily to pray for Israel.  We operate by faith and not by sight, and we know in Your Word, that no eye has seen and no ear has heard what God has in store, for those that love You.  Remember the nations for the way that they have honored You in the past and served You and pour out a blessing upon each nation who has a remnant that still choose to glorify Your name, Oh, Lord.  Bless them with riches, and provision, wisdom, and strength and courage for the feeble, and weak, and we pray for revival in Israel.  You said in that when they were gathered in one accord in one place that there was a sound of a mighty rushing wind, with tongues of cloven fire, so we’re asking for the spiritual rain to be poured down, and let Revival come, across the nations, starting with each heart, and with each person.  Move in Your people, cause Your people, the Church, to come alive with prayer and fasting and with one accord reach out to pray for the nation of Israel.  We pray for the nation of Israel, divine providence, protection, and power come down.  We ask that You Pull Heaven Down!!!  Thank You Heavenly Father for abundant grace and mercy.

In Jesus MIGHTY name I pray,
